It's the most wonderful time of the year!

That's right, it's time for the 2018 seed catalogs to start arriving!!

I love seed catalogs. I can spend hours looking through one and reading all of the descriptions of the different varieties. Who wants to read four pages JUST about tomato seeds? ME! It's a book full of potential. For a few minutes, I let myself think that I could grow ALL OF THE THINGS. Winter vegetables, tropical fruits, cover crops, trees, flowers, shrubs.... all of it.

Pretty soon we'll start sitting down and actually planning our garden for next year, and we'll be (fairly) reasonable and only order a few special varieties and then use the seeds we've saved or bought in previous years.... but that time is not yet. And while I'm waiting, I've ordered another seed catalog to keep me busy...
